Abraham Attah Plays another big role
“Beast of No Nation” star actor Abraham Attah set to play his next lead-role in American rapper Birdman’s upcoming hollywood-nollywood movie titled “Tazmanian Devil”. The movie is directed by Solomon Onita Jr and executive produced by American rapper Birdman along with Benny Boom.
This Nollywood movie will be the debut feature from Nigerian-American filmmaker, Solomon Onita Jr. With Abraham Attah from the heroic ‘Beast of No Nation’ movie playing the lead role, Benny Boom of Groundwurk Studios-California, will also partner as executive producer on this bold project. There have been much controversies as to why the Ghanaian actor Abraham Attah prefers to act movies of hollywood genre and now nollywood movies too and not Ghanaian movies. Nevertheless the actor who reigned supreme in the movie “Beast of No Nation” the first time and featured in American based movie “Spider Man” has shown great Talent in the field of acting despite his preferences.
Abraham Attah will be joined by Adepero Oduye (Pariah) in “When They See Us”, who plays his mother and Nater Guma Mbaho Mwime (Queen of Katwe) in “The Chi”, who plays his deeply religious father. “Tazmanian Devil” follows Dayo, a 19-year-old immigrant (Abraham Attah) who, after moving to the US, struggles to bond with his estranged father, who abandoned his family to become a missionary. He is challenged by his father,as he joins a college fraternity, leaving him in search of his own moral ground. He struggles to find a balance between his strong desire to join a college fraternity and bonding with his estranged father who is a strict pastor at a local church. The movie is currently in production with major setting in Hollywood and yet to be released soon.
