Actor Fadeyi Oloro Passes Away

Fadeyi Oloro, a veteran Yoruba actor whose real name is Ojo Arowosafe, has passed away at the age of 66 following a prolonged illness. Although the exact cause of his death is unknown, it is known that the actor had been battling health issues for some time.

This marks the end of a long and distinguished career for  Fadeyi Oloro, who was a well-respected figure in the Nigerian film industry. Over the years, he had appeared in a number of popular Yoruba films, earning acclaim for his powerful performances and his ability to bring complex characters to life on the big screen.

Despite his many accomplishments, Fadeyi Oloro was not immune to the challenges that face many actors in Nigeria. In 2017, he had to deny rumours that he had passed away, after reports began to circulate online suggesting that he had died.

At the time, he was said to be struggling with kidney problems, and the rumours caused a great deal of concern among his fans and colleagues.

In December of 2021, Fadeyi Oloro took to social media to appeal to Nigerians for financial assistance as he struggled with his health. He was facing mounting medical bills and was finding it difficult to pay for the care he needed.

Last month, he was once again forced to reach out for help, as he revealed that he was facing eviction from his home after his landlord gave him a notice to quit.

Despite these difficulties, Fadeyi Oloro remained a beloved figure in the Nigerian film industry, and his passing has been mourned by many. His legacy as a talented actor and a dedicated performer will continue to inspire future generations of actors in Nigeria and beyond.
