Davido’s recent move on Instagram has sparked speculation about his return to social media. The Nigerian singer and producer shocked his fans by deleting almost 4,000 photos on the platform, leaving only three behind.
The three remaining images on his verified account are his son Ifeanyi Adeleke, who passed away last October, his historic performance at the World Cup closing ceremony, and a photo of himself and his wife Chioma.
This move has caused mixed reactions from his fans, with some predicting his return to social media and others worrying about his mental health.
Despite reports that he could return to social media in March, there has been no official statement from his camp on the matter. His personal logistics manager, Afeare Isreal, also cleared all photos on his Instagram in solidarity with his label boss.
Davido was an ardent enthusiast on social media apps and used the platform to document his life as well as engage with fans. However, he has been absent from the public eye since the unfortunate incident involving his son.
