New Disney Series ‘Royal Rules of Ohio’ to Powerfully Document Lives Of Three Ghanaian Royal Sisters in the U.S.

Disney is set to release a new documentary series titled “Royal Rules of Ohio” that tells the story of three sisters from a Ghanaian royal family.

The show will be available on the streaming platform Hulu, and it follows the Agyekum sisters as they navigate their 20s in Columbus, Ohio, the capital of the U.S. state.

The sisters come from a lineage of royal descendants from two of Ghana’s most wealthy and powerful kingdoms, and they enjoy a lavish lifestyle. However, with great privilege comes great responsibility, and behind closed doors, the sisters are living double lives that could put their family’s reputation at risk.

The series is from entertainment company eOne and executive produced by Tara Long, Ben Megargel, Madison Merritt, Kim McKoy, Amy Callahan, and Jayson Elmore.

Along with “Royal Rules of Ohio,” Hulu has also ordered two other unscripted shows, “Love in Fairhope” and “Secrets & Sisterhood: The Sozahdahs.”

No official release date has been announced for “Royal Rules of Ohio,” but fans are eagerly awaiting its arrival on Hulu. The show promises to offer viewers an intimate look into the lives of three young Ghanaian sisters as they strive to balance their family’s noble legacy with the challenges of modern life in America.
